Oriental Dance Dance - it is part of ancient sacred rituals. One of the last Masters of mystical oriental was Georgi Ivanovich Gurdzieff. Dances, which he taught to his students, were called sacred exercises. But really they were ancient rituals. Word "ritual" means in Sanskrit language: "rita" -- signifies order, and in Russian language it sounds like word "rhythm". Rituals were considered sacred because they carried the knowledge of the highest cosmic order. Person, who mastered this knowledge, the knowledge of dances, received the rarest opportunity to obtain the knowledge of the highest cosmic order. In one of the books of Carlos Kastaneda are described situations, where he and his Master Don Juan observed dances of Dona Hinara, and suddenly Don Juan told: - It is not a simple dance; it is her way to realize. So often we have noticed while reading some book, or hearing some kind of information, we tell: - Now I know it. But really knows just one part of us, which is called "Mind". We have 3 fundamental parts: emotions, mind and body. And when in us the one who knows, are emotions, or mind or body, then we don't have the right to consider that we know something.
