The Pagans E-mail

In the summer some Russian priests went to Udmurdia. Roll attended their seminar, which took place in the forest, so that all participants had to live in tents. The priests lectured about Russian yoga. Their lectures reminded of Indian yoga, although they changed it a little. All yoga terminology, in addition, had been substituted by Russian words so that, for instance, the word ‘chakras’ was rendered as ‘boilers’.

What was extremely interesting was that they tried to also convey pagan culture.

The ancient Slavs, as they said, worshipped Jarilo the Sun, the life-giving Power of Nature as well as other Gods, also expressions of the Power of Nature. Perun, for instance, personified the power of storms, Khoros that of the Moon and Mokosh that of Mother Earth. The Slavs believed that the fusion of life and nature led to the highest levels, as the whole nature with its laws personified the power of the Genus, the cosmic law of life.

Often the priests lifted their right hand exclaiming: "Glory to Jarilo!" but then they would put it down saying: "Death to the Judeo-Christians!"

Miroslav, their leader, explained that the Christians had destroyed Russian culture:

“They have substituted our Gods with their Iehova, their priests have substituted our holidays with Jewish ones. These bastards, who have caused the whole nation of the American Indians to fall into alcoholism, are now doing the same with Russians” Miroslav was very angry, he grabbed hold of a bottle of vodka and poured it out onto the bonfire. The flames in the fire burst up brightly. “Let’s drink our Russian medovucha” (Russian ancient strong alcohol drink made of honey) he announced, and grabbed hold of a great wooden bowl and passed it around the whole circle. In order to intensify the conflict between Slavs and Christians even more, he grabbed hold of a Bible, tore it into small pieces and threw into the fire. At that point everyone, according to a Russian tradition, began to jump over the bonfire.

He explained that the fire is Jarilo’s power here, on Earth. To make it possible for everyone to take part in the struggle against Judaism and Christianity, Miroslav took an axe and started to hatch down church icons, calling everyone else to join in this action. As soon as a few icons were destroyed, his pupils, dressed in Slave attires, began dancing around, singing the song: "Glory to Chur-chur, glory to the Genus, Glory to our Nation!".

At the end of the seminar, Miroslav ordained some new members of the community by cutting off tufts of hair and throwing them into fire. Then the Ordained kissed a red banner, on which a double swastika, symbol of the Sun was drawn, whilst reciting the words: “Glory to Jarila!".

Roll understood that this community was a bright example of a solid Egregor, fighting for the purification of Russian culture. Yet there was nothing more to it: not a word about Enlightenment, although some of their shocking practices could have been useful for the first stage of wisdom perfection.
