“On the brink of catastrophe? Terminal catastrophes or the beginning of a new era? A spiritual perspective In the fifties and sixties, after the end of the second World War - which had caused immense disasters in the whole of Europe, leaving behind blood and ruins, as well as the horrors of manslaughter at the hand of mad dictators – new political alliances were shaped for the preservation of peace and the development of a stable and positive new world. Inspired by the ideals of freedom and progress, peoples’ lives seemed to have taken a turn for the better. It looked as though humans had learned their lesson and had started on a new path, determined to build a paradise on earth for themselves and their children. It was the time of the economic boom and the time of optimistic dreaming that boundaries between counties could be let down and that from this, a new brotherhood of humans could emerged, regardless of race, religion, gender and so on. The dream was short lived! In the mid-sixties, the horror of the Vietnam war with thousands of coffins returned to the dead soldiers’ mothers, spouses, sisters, friends made everyone shiver and realise that all they had dreamt and hoped for was mere rhetoric! Peace and stability as well as the hope of a fulfilling life for all had been just a chimera. What had gone wrong? What had gone wrong was that all had believed that progress, matched by modern economic and political solutions, could indeed lead to freedom and happiness, but had neglected to take into account that the relative freedom people had obtained of travelling, changing their adobe, jobs, spouse and so on, was not matched by an equal freedom from the internal chains such as hatred and dislike for one’s neighbour, lack of tolerance for the different, prejudice, and so on. Modern man, in spite of the increased level of living, could not uphold the pillars of a new world’s brotherhood. --------------------------- In life an ordinary man does not see the lessons of God; therefore he needs a Teacher, who can explain to him how to hear God. Shri Guru Alid Pfaski NatvaThe energy of the Moon and the Sun acts on human being, and what they do in the period coinciding with the beginning of the year or the beginning of the lunar month can be compared with sawing seeds in the ground: these develop and grow in him. This is the great law of energy. Guru Altai Chi--------------------------- An attempt of a solution came from a bunch of youngsters, who in an attempt to release human beings from their internal chains, suggested that human had to rediscover love, seen as the single catalyst, which could make a difference to the evolution of the planet and truly, deeply change human relationships. Music, graphic and visual arts such as street and ‘man’ theatre grew all over the world, and with it people started to travel to far away lands, mostly India, attracted by the peaceful ideals of its religion and people.
--------------------------- The law of energy of planets acts inexorably, and each one of us can trace it in itself. For example, in someone may appear thoughts of how to become successful. When his energy rises, then these thoughts begin to be manifested and be actualised in the physical world. It is, therefore, terrible when evil and negative thoughts act in us as, when the energy of anger, hatred and fear rise, their energy rises too, these thoughts become manifested and, with them, evil is manifested. Once again the dream was shuttered! Wars kept on happening all over the place: South America, Africa, the Far East, bringing not only death by arms, but also death by feminine, especially in Africa …. More silent wars kept on going on in the western world too: the dispute over disarmament, the cold war, the market war, increased poverty, with Martin Luther King, Pope John XXIV declaring from their authoritative position that humans had to be careful, that disaster was lurking in a dark corner….. --------------------------- Try to remember: "what is stored in a period of low energy, becomes manifested in a period of high energy. Nurture in your heart sunny thoughts, feelings and intentions, so that, when your energy will grow together with energy of entire nature and the entire cosmos, these good thoughts and feelings will also displayed for your perfection, in the transformation of your essence. Guru Altai ChiThe philosophy of Yoga is different from other philosophies. Yogis teachers are also different from other teachers. In al school of the world the teachers want their pupils to be like them, but a yogi teacher wants that the student in the school become better than them. Parents do not know what best, although they think that they know better. In this case, therefore, a teacher who gives the children more than parents can give is needed. Shri Guru Alid Pfaski Natva--------------------------- People, then, took to the street, started to fight, to protest, to attempt to destroy an ethos they saw as external to them, the ethos of consumerism, of exploitation of humans by humans, of useless production of goods irrelevant to life and ultimately dangerous. A few died in the streets, others moved on. A lot of them are today’s leaders who, having gone back on their own words, sit and rule, de facto, through fostering the economic interests of few, and silently supporting the exploitation of nature and its increasing pollution which, in turns, leads to tragic atmospheric changes and natural disaster, pushing the planet to the ‘point zero’: catastrophe and the annihilation of life. Indeed, it has become more frequent and, alas, almost a normal part of contemporary life, to hear news of terrible natural disasters, which cost the life to hundreds and thousands of people every year.

All the time - All over the world - Sand storms, wild land fires, climate induced health epidemics are other examples of such hazards. “Today, about three-quarters of all natural disasters are related to weather, climate and water and their extremes…. “ states Michel Jarraud (Message on the occasion of World Water Day on 22 March 2004). After the recent news of the incredible speed at which the ice melts in the artic, it is by now clear, that there is not way back from Earth and that, according to some of the worse prevision of famous scientists, the disaster is inevitable: it is under serous treat and soon it will not longer even resemble the planet we have know - and which we have inhabited - as large parts of continents are bound to disappeared under the mounting sea level. Referring to natural disasters, Kafi Annan ‘s suggests: “ Natural hazards are a part of life. But hazards only become disasters when people’s lives and livelihoods are swept away…. Let us remind ourselves that we can and must reduce the impact of disasters by building sustainable communities that have long-term capacity to live with risk.” (Message on the occasion of the international Day of Disaster Reduction, October 2003) The above quote makes it clear, to all those who are willing to read in between the lines, that the a radical solution to the planet’s fatal climax is no longer possible, as the stress on “ building sustainable communities that have long-term capacity to live with risk well illustrate. Tragedy is around the corner and people have to learn to live with it! --------------------------- If in the world suddenly begin to happen something uncommon, supernatural, which exceeds the reach of our ideas, it presses us to the Earth with its gravity, with hopelessness. This is an action of the Divine Power. By sending sufferings, it gives release to a new state, fills human being with knowledge and wisdom, because it is precisely in the moment of frequent suffering that humans are forced to think about themselves, about God and about the Soul. Guru Altai ChiTo be ready to meet the Teacher it is difficult. For this it is necessary to have some education. There are many well-read people in the world, but very few well-educated ones, and this because nobody has educated them. They, however, are not guilty of it. If a badly educated person comes to me, I will not be offended; he is not guilty for it. Yet, if this person wants to become my student, he must be educated first. Shri Guru Alid Pfaski Natva--------------------------- Are we, thus, witnessing the last days of planet Earth and of its inhabitants? Alongside the alarm raised by scientist that Earth is, indeed, quickly coming to an end, another voice, that of Pacal Votan, a Mayan prophet of the 7th century, warns that the time of ‘Trail on Earth’, of ‘Judgement day”, of “The time of great purification,” of the “End of creation” or the “End of times as we know them” is quickly approaching. The date of the event is the winter solstice, of December 21, 2012. Besides the Maya prophet, many other people, including the Hopi, Egyptians, Kabbalists, Sumerians, Tibetans, Egyptians, Essenes, Qero elders of Peru, Navajo, Cherokee, Apache, Iroquois confederacy, Dogon Tribe, Aborigines seem to support this estimation. The times in which we are living, indeed - as witness by both contemporary scientists and mystic alike – seem to mark the end of life as we have known it. The Pacal Votan' s prophetic call, however, seems to also hold the promise of rescue, by suggesting that humans biological process can undergo great changes able to restore universal telepathy, a greater self-reflective consciousness and, in addition, the a return to the sacred world of human’s inner technology. Unlike, Kofi Annan’s rhetoric, the Pacal Votan’ s prophecy, holds in store an amazing promise: that the ‘end of times as we know them’ is also the beginning of new era, of a time in which humans - by learning to develop fully the genetic potential they are born with and which, nowadays, is by and large lying dormant - will be able to contribute to transmute the problems of our three dimensional physical reality by utilizing their own stored, internal technology transformation. This, in turns, will allow for the healing and restoration of the planet. All this is well and good, but what is still not clear is: how is it possible to awaken the genetic potential, of which, as is it claimed, all human being are endowed? As the Russian scientist V. I. Vernadsky states, the "transition of the biosphere to no-osphere , is “the result of a climax of human self-reflective thought and industry upon the environment, resulting in an exponential change in consciousness in which all becomes revealed and known." --------------------------- Once I heard from Shri Guru Alid Pfaski Natva the following words: "When human beings are born on Earth, God gives them abilities, like the ability to predict the future, telepathy, levitation etc, which they must develop. This, however, cannot be obtained without the Teacher. Therefore it is important that human beings find the Teacher, as early as possible during of their lifetime. You experience several moments in life when you feel that, if 
Furthermore, under the motto: “Let’s celebrate difference!” - which called for respect and understanding of each other as humans, beyond the superficial differences of colour, culture, race, education, gender - a peaceful earth governed by love and mutual understanding appeared again to be a feasible reality. It was the time of strong human rights, antiracist movements: all minorities, who felt oppressed and muted, started then to attempt to recover their voice and a rightful place of dignity. In this climate of freedom and innovation, people started to talk freely about sex and gave birth to what would pass to history as sexual revolution. Freud’s, Reich’s and the like theories were in the mouth not just to a bunch of elite of psychiatrists, but of every layman and woman. Once again it looked a though paradise on Earth was about to happen. 
Below are just a few examples of a few of the most costly, - in terms of human life - natural disasters, ultimately caused by man’s disrespect and exploitation of nature. 
Change in consciousness seems, therefore, to be the key word for the realisation of a big personal transformation leading to Knowledge.
