Mariana hurried to the empty room in her uncle’s apartment, where she could be alone and dip into the world of magic, that she loved to practice every evening. She took off her clothes; let loose her elegant black hair, large curls fell to her shoulders. She put on the floor a circle of cards and along that circle eight candles by the directions of light. Then she took one silver cup with water and sat on her knees to the center of the circle. The bright Moon was seen from the window. It was Full Moon. Mariana took the cup with water, and after raising it up, she put it under the light of the Moon. She bathed entirely in the lunar radiance, feeling, as the energy of the Moon poured into her.

- May all my wishes come true, - began to cultivate her intention, imagining   everything that she wanted to achieve. - Oh, the Goddess of the Night! Please tell me what I must do for that? – asked she, soundlessly saying the witchcraft incantation.

Suddenly from the Moon’s light started to appear the form of the Goddess and her lips whispered:

- Near to you there is one person, he’s power is opposite to you, but you must push each other forward on the way of development.

- Who is he, - whispered Mariana and looked into her cup of water. Suddenly in it began to appear the figure of Rulon – the boy from her class. -  It will be done! - said Mary and drank all the water and, holding the cup with both hands, she bowed to the Goddess.
